A scope mount machined from billet aluminum is integrated into a specially prepared receiver and barrel nut. This is an extended mount for obtaining proper optical eye relief on most hunting and target scopes. Held in place with 5 allen cap screws; interlocking the receiver, barrel nut, and scope mount into a solid unit. No glue, no holes drilled or tapped into the receiver. "Weaver-Type" rings.

I.S.S.I.'s own preparatory, polyurethane (rubber like) lightweight, stainless steel backed insert, and vented, free-floating handguard. Patterned after the A2, but with a front sling-mounting stud, it is tough, practical, functional and very pleasing to the hand and eye. Along with our uniquely designed one hole (gas tube) drag free steel barrel nut; it is an outstanding accuracy enhancing combination.

I.S.S.I. use's Hart button barrels or L.R.B. cut barrels (Your Choice) in stainless steel. These barrels are profiled to our own heavy barrel dimension. Chambers are cut with our own specially dimensioned JGS Precision reamers, and come with individually head spaced bolt, I.S.S.I.chrome bolt and carrier with McFarland one piece gas rings. Barrel lengths of 20,22,24 and 26 inch. All I.S.S.I. barrel's come with polished feed ramps, our own stainles steel gas block, matt finished and cut with a proven 11 degree target crown.
All uppers are test fired at 100 yds and shipped with the target and load data. With various loads, five shot groups of 1/2 inch or less at 100 yards are common. Therefore with quality ammunition we guaranteed 1/2 M.O.A.
